Woo Fest is an award-winning, family-friendly, multi-genre music festival that raises funds for St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester, England. Set in a beautiful location near Upton upon Severn, Woo Fest has gone from strength to strength since launching in 2015—raising over £218,000 to date. Every single penny from every ticket goes directly to the hospice.
We showcase top-quality music from incredibly talented musicians, with a mix of genres, original songs, and crowd-pleasing covers. There’s also plenty for children to enjoy, along with fantastic food served up at our Woo Fest Kitchen.
What began as a small gathering of friends and family has grown into the first festival on the calendar for many. In 2025, we smashed all previous records by raising over £40.2K for St Richards.
Each year, we learn a little more and get a little better—but the heart of Woo Fest stays the same. It’s a special kind of festival, built on a community of amazing people who volunteer their time, skills, and equipment to create unforgettable weekends.

Woo Fest 2025 – What a Year!
Woo Fest 2025 was a massive success – a complete sell-out once again! Across two vibrant stages, we enjoyed an incredible range of live music in stunning surroundings.
There was something for everyone: fun activities for kids, a wide mix of musical genres, and the triumphant return of wrestling! The Woo Fest Kitchen continued to thrive, serving up delicious, locally sourced cuisine throughout the weekend.
Most importantly, it was a beautiful celebration of community – amazing people coming together to share unforgettable moments.
We’re thrilled to announce that £40.2K was raised for St Richard’s Hospice – a 20% increase from last year! That brings our total raised to over £218K since Woo Fest began. Thank you all for your incredible support!
Woo Fest organises fundraising nights throughout the year, always great nights with superb music.
Our next event is on a fantastic day for celebrations - Saturday 27th of December at the Marrs Bar in Worcester
Woo Fest was set up to raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester, the inspiration coming from the story of a local man who benefited from their care. Click below to read the story behind Woo Fest and more about St Richard's Hospice.
Woo Fest received recognition at the prestigious UK Festival awards, winning the Best Small Festival at it's 2022 awards ceremony for the second year in a row!
This was an amazing result for Woo Fest , beating off competition from much larger festivals and winning due to our charitable aims, family focus, incredible line up and relaxed atmosphere.

Making Woo Fest a great experience for the whole family is one of our main objectives and part of this is making sure kids have plenty to do. Our objective here is to make Woo Fest completly family friendly and by all accounts we’ve cracked this!
Happy children make happy families !
Entry and camping is free for children and we always have activities that the kids can get involved in (such as forest school and craft sessions). Most of these are also free and we are lucky to be supported by the fabulous Jungle Jiggle who devise many different activities for children to enjoy
We have a bouncy castle and slide for the kids to enjoy and have now introduced wrestling sessions by Welsh Superstars of Wrestling which is immensely popular with all ages. We are also supported by Worcester City FC who set up an urban football pitch and run 3 a-side sessions which was a great addition
More importantly, Woo Fest is a safe environment for children, so the whole family can relax and enjoy the music.
Our regular Woo Fest kids also want to raise money for St Richard's Hospice so in the past have completed walking challenges and held bake sales - get involved and look out for our plans for 2025!
